Emily K. Parks, MA, MSW is the co founder of Uplift Family Services, an organization dedicated to nurturing the health and wellness throughout pregnancy and infancy.Emily K. Parks graduated with her Master’s in Social Work from Wayne State University specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She has worked for the State of Michigan for over 15 years, including foster care, adoption, child welfare, adult protective services, and youth aging out of the foster care system. Emily has experience working in community mental health working as a clinical therapist, as well as a therapist with adults and children with a range of psychiatric illnesses, trauma, and substance abuse disorders.
