Kelly Nack

Description
Kelly Nack (she/her) is a wife to a dedicated public school teacher and a mother to three spirited, neurodivergent kiddos. She is also the heart behind Bearing Brightly, where she offers birth and postpartum doula support alongside maternity, birth, and newborn photography.
Kelly’s personal journey through trauma, infertility, and early pregnancy loss—as well as her experiences as a foster, adoptive, and biological mother—deeply inform her understanding of parenthood. Her own challenges with perinatal anxiety and depression have shaped her perspective and strengthened her commitment to walking with others through the complexities of becoming a parent.
She became a doula out of a desire to ensure that mamas and birthing people feel truly cared for, empowered, supported, and celebrated throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Drawing on both her lived experience and specialized training in perinatal loss, Kelly offers compassionate, informed, physical, and emotional care tailored to each client’s unique path.
In addition to her work as a doula and photographer, Kelly serves her community as a tutor with the Survivor Moms’ Companion—a psychoeducational program that supports birthing people with histories of childhood trauma. In this role, she walks alongside clients during their perinatal healing journeys, helping them navigate the challenges and reclaim their strength.
